About the Town of  Jewett NY Gop Committee Members

 

 The Town of Jewett Committee members are responsible for being the local representative

 of the Republican Party within the election district.  The Town of Jewett Committee members

 are responsible for voter registration efforts, circulating of nominating petitions for Republican   candidates in order to secure a place on the ballot, securing volunteers to participate in poll   watching on Election Day, and other activities intended to advance the interests of the

 Republican Party within the county.

 
The Town of Jewett Committee members constitute the Republican party organization within

 the Town and are responsible for the nomination of candidates for town office, which are

 typically conducted by party caucus pursuant to the state election law.

The Town of Jewett Committee members also participate in the nomination of candidates for   county-wide office.
